I'm apologize for responding so late, but I was really excited to get your email! My name is Sophia Wang, and I am the president of Mission San Jose High School's Interact Club this year. I'm really proud to say that during the past three years Interact has grown to be the largest club on campus. We have over 500 registered members!
MSJ Interact is also part of Interact District 5170.The district is composed of 13 areas, and each area has 3-5 Interact Clubs. This year 6 people from Mission San Jose are serving on our district's District Council. Asha Choudhury is the current Governor; I am the Secretary; Jonathon Sunada is the Treasurer; Charlene Nguyen is the Area 5 Representative; Mahita Penke is the Cinemetographer; and Raymond is the Webmaster. Every year District Council chooses an international project as a unifying goal that all the clubs fundraise and donate money towards. Last year our project was with Action Against Hunger, and we raised over $50,000 for it. This year we're fundraising for two hands-on projects, to build a school in Ghana, Africa and to help a daycare in Panama. It's really exciting knowing that next summer we'll be able to travel to those places and actually put our money into use.

Su nombre es Sophia Wang y es la presidenta ,de este periodo, del Interact Club de la secundaria San Jose. Cuenta que en los ultimos tres años el Interact crecio mucho convirtiendose en el club mas grandes del campus....y que tienen 500 socios registrados
Ellos pertenecen al distrito 5170 dividido en 13 areas con entre 3-5 Clubs Interacts. 6 de ellos estan participando en la administracion del distrito: Asha Choudhury es la gobernadora; ella es secretaria ; Jonathon Sunada es el tesorero; Charlene Nguyen es la representante del area 5 Representative; Mahita Penke es el Cinemetographer (nose bien la traduccion); and Raymond el encargado del sitio web.
Todos los años la administracion del distrito elige un proyecto internacional como un objetivo de unificación que todos los clubs. El año pasado nuestro proyecto era con la Acción Contra el Hambre, y levantamos más de 50,000 dólares para ello. Este año tenemos dos proyectos sobre el terreno, construir una escuela a Ghana, África y ayudar a una guardería en Panamá. Esto realmente excita el saber que el próximo verano seremos capaces de viajar a aquellos sitios y en realidad pondremos nuestro dinero en el empleo.
Y por ultimo dice que le encanto tener noticias nuestras y que quiere saber mas sobre nosotros, y pregunta como es en Argentina.....
